Circa 1850s Mahogany Cabinet, it has 30 compartments and 2 drawers. Never restored or restained. Square head nails and hand planing of the boards can be seen throughout. Originally from the East Coast. This piece was originally owned by the family that donated the land for expansion of what is now Penn State University. Most of the furniture from this family ended up in museums back east upon the settlement of the estate. Prior to that each family member was allowed to pick one piece of furniture. This piece came from a law office in New York City.
