Citizen Jerry Moore of Stockton california, an elderly man whos - TopicsExpress

Citizen Jerry Moore of Stockton california, an elderly man whos wife called 911 to get him help for a mental breakdown he was enduring, has had a complaint of civil rights violations put on hold as a result of the cities ongoing bankruptcy status. Mr. Moore was holding nothing more than a crucifix when officers arrived to HELP him, and get him treatment for his mental anguish. SERGEANTS Richard Maddern and Timothy Swails along with stockton police officers PAUL DONA, GREGORY DUNN, JEREMY EDENS, THOMAS HULBURT, GERARDO MUNOZ, ands TERESA WENTLAND protected and served Mr. Jerry Moore almost to their full extent. (Not fully as Jerry is still breathing). Upon arrival officers deployed a k-9 and then proceeded to beat the elderly Moore, and arrest him. Now Mr. Moore has a civil rights law suit filed in the 9th circuit, California Eastern District Court Sacramento Office, for civil rights violations. Unfortunately this complaint has been stayed by Senior Judge William B. Shubb, pending Chapter 9 bankruptcy proceedings. Two of the officers named in this complaint (Officers Gregory Dunn and Jeremy Edens) are the same officers who were involved in the murders of James Earl Rivera Jr (Dunn) and 57 year old James Cooke (Edens). Does anyone else see the pattern? We are starting to see the same officers involved in civil rights violations and killings that are occuring in the city of Stockton CA. James Cooke was an elderly man just as Jerry Moore. As if beating one eldery black man to death were not enough, Officer Jeremy Edens seems to have made an attempt on another elderly black mans life. Same for Dunn. Killing 16 year old James Rivera Jr with an absurd amount of rounds from 9mm and an AR-15 assault rifle was not satisfying enough to quench Officer Gregory Dunns thirst for blood. These officers have killed in the past, and surely will kill and beat more citizens before they retire. We can expect this as we know that district attorney James P. Willet will never file charges of criminal misconduct against any law enforcement officers in San Joaquin County; as well as the fact that Civil Suits are no worry for the city of Stocktons Police department, so long as we remain in a state of bankruptcy. How can we, the people of Stockton California, trust the Police? Even when a crime is not being committed, and residents call for something as simple and routine as assistance for someone who needs nothing more than a ride to the county mental health facility, they are still meating us with brutal force. Jerry Moore is not the first person in Stockton to be brutalized by Stockton Police when a mental health call was placed by a family member. November 1st, 2006, officers responded to a call that 53 year old Bernet Vaba was in a suicidal state, and needed transport to mental health. Upon arrival Sgt. Michael Moreno and probationary Officer Benjamin Cromwell located Vaba in the bedroom of the home to wit she was residing. Officers were well aware that Vaba was suicidal and in possesion of prescription medication and at least two knives. Instead of taking the womans distraught mental state of mind into consideration, the two officers kicked down the bedroom door and opened fire, killing her. Their story was the same as usual; she lunged at us with a knife!!!. Someone saw through the smoke, a lawsuit was filed by the family, and an out of court settlement of $210,000 was payed out to the family by the city.
