UGENYA TTC: MY EYE VIEW This morning, I took time to visit the newly established Ugenya TTC which is located at Nyaharwa, some 20km from Ugunja town. The reception wasnt good until I invoked the name of someone prominent. As I understood, they do not allow visits since the construction is still ongoing. I was then given a tour of the college - both complete and incomplete buildings. I saw the new kitchen, the new dormitories, the office administration block, the store, among others. My verdict? A very good job going on right next to my village. My may differ on political preferences but we must appreciate efforts towards a better constituency. One small issue though. The dormitories have grills which is contrary to ministry of education guidelines. In case of fire, students in those dormitories could be trapped inside.
