City of Colours - Birmingham Street Art Festival 2014 Over the 6th September, Digbeth will be transformed into one of the UKs largest outdoor paint festivals with an exciting new addition to Birmingham & the UKs calendar of cultural events - The City of Colours Festival. Over 100 artists from across the UK and wider will transform this part of the city, including the likes of Inkie, Phlegm, GENT 48, Title, Alex Senna, Jimmy C, Chu, Lisk Bot, hoakser, Dreph, Snub23, Daniel Kitchener, Tempo 33, Tizer, Pref ID, Andy Council, Dscreet, Dale Grimshaw, Phill Blake, N4T4, G-Anders, Vibes, Epok, Newso 48, Lovepusher Art, Lucy Mclauchlan, Ink Fetish, AsOne Arts, Jim Vision, 3DOM graffiti, Lost Souls, CoLor Ismyfullname, Mila Karnis, Shaun Sepr, Cujo Cussler, Raek, 45RPM, Ragoe, Tml Stars, Golden Boy, Mad Wew, C3 Streetart, D7606, Craig Earp, The Hores, Zooki Twc Fks, Goosensei, Fok A Wolf, Irek Tankpetrol, Captain Kris, Harold Pack and many many more... A celebration of urban arts & independant creatives, alongside the live painting, will be 5 music stages with Live music, djs, b-boy battles, beat boxers, Street Food (Digbeth Dining Club), live illustration battles, market hall, affordable art sale, installations, cinema screenings, spoken word performances & other innovative and engaging visual art forms. Aimed at all ages, graffiti, dance and music workshops will also be happening throughout festival - everyone will have the chance to get involved. The event, being led by us over at Street Art Birmingham, involves a partnership of over 20 expert organisations including THE BENCH 504, The Custard Factory, GraffitiArtist, Digbeth Dining Club, The Rainbow Venues, Alfie Birds, Under The Counter, Seedy Sonics, The Roots Yard, Brum Town Presents, graffiti4hire, Mission Print, The old Crown, Posca UK, SIKA studios (underground clothing, music, art and design), Listening Sessions, Sentient Visuals, Gimme The Breaks, Jam Hott and many more... The event will reflect the vibrancy of its people and its places and the team hope to bring different communities from across the city and wider together as one.
