The new ordnance only allows for estate sales n garage sale to only take place only on Saturday Sunday taking away Friday as a option. Sundays for most people are reserved for church n sports. Reason for estate sales r normally very highly stressful situation like selling off a parents inherence to pay for things like extended care and burial expenses. This ordnance will reduce the net profits of a sale by reducing the over all transactions. As a licensed estate sales owner in the city of Gretna, the sale that we support are 50 transactions lower for a Sat Sun vrs a Fri Sat sale. Moreover, this ordnance will affect single micro business owned by single mothers. A significant customer base to estate sales, single mother looking for stuff to sell in eBay as side Money. Fridays are kid free to go garage saling to find items to list. Also with the no sale for resale part the will be now in violation of the ordnance.
