City of Redmond, Public Works plans to remove the snow Downtown on Sixth street. Here is Public Works plan: Advisory of Traffic Restriction for Downtown Snow Removal. In an effort to clear the Redmond Downtown Core, Transportation Crews will close through traffic on SW 6th Street from Black Butte to Forest Tuesday, November 18th. The restriction will start from 6:00 pm (may be altered to accommodate businesses and restaurants) through the night to Wednesday morning at 6:00 am. A detour will be in place diverting 6th St. traffic West on Black Butte, South on 11th, then back East on Highland Ave. All roadside snow and sidewalk snow will be removed within this 4 block section. Local and business traffic will be able to access 6th street from the side roads. Crews will work with businesses that remain open after 6 pm to safely complete this task and accommodate business traffic.
