City of Simpsonville Parks and Recreation The City of Simpsonville is looking for a qualified applicant to become a Facility/ Program Coordinator for the Simpsonville Parks and Recreation Department. Position is regular full-time with benefits, paid vacation and holidays. Duties include: Under general direction, Planning, programming and implementing various parks and recreation leagues, programs and special events. Supervise part-time staff, officials and volunteers. Collect and deliver fees for programs/ facilities. Seasonal and odd hours required consisting of mainly afternoon, weeknights and Saturdays. Successful candidate must pass CPR/ first-aid certification and all other training as required. Work is typically performed both indoors and outdoors, requiring intermittent sitting, standing, stooping, or walking; Must lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Hours: 40 per week Salary range: $19,437.00 to $32,655.00/ yearly Starts: 3/1/15 Minimum qualifications: Graduation from high school or equivalent supplemented by one-year previous or similar work experience.
