Civil Servants To Help Fight Corruption The Civil Servants and Allied Workers Union, formerly known as Civil Servants Association is resuming its activities with a fresh plan. It concludes plan to establish anti-corruption units in all public institutions. In collaboration with the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC), the units will help to enhance and streamline various administrative procedures and processes that would remove the opportunities that make it possible to squeeze bribes out of the public. As future measures, the union will encourage the Anti-corruption commission to institute the necessary system that will make early detection possible and more certain. Corruption constitutes serious crimes and must be dealt with by comprehensive policy measures and actions instead of mere slogans. Meanwhile, the incorporators of the Civil Servants Association have the power and authority to make, adopt, amend or repeal power that a corporation has or hereafter organized under the Liberian business laws.
