Clarence Irby I have never believed things to be post racial/all good, nor have everyone always said such. I dont think all are trained to be a certain way. Of course some do train themselves to be such. We have a long way to go, but we have come along way. No matter where it is at or how long it has been throughout history, minorities always have some measure of suffering/deprivation at the hands the majority. As imperfect as this country is, no other country has invested so much of its national treasure in trying to correct poverty, injustices, etc. than this countrys estimated 22 trillion dollars. 10 mins · Like Clarence Irby My take on that situation has been that the police did not have to break out that window nor tase him AT THAT POINT. I am hoping for federal and civil actions to be taken. It was sadistic or them to have engaged that excessively and quickly with those children in that back seat. However, however, however, to the 10th power. Just as i am repulsed at seeing excessive and sadistic force used by law enforcement officers, i am so sick and tired of citizens not cooperating with the police. If they ask or tell you to do something, do it, period. Your life, the well being of your family, the loss of income/fatherhood your children will suffer with you dead or in jail is just not worth it. It was not night time, nor were the officers in un marked cars or uniforms. I would rather be alive, taking care of my family, talking about how wrong and dis respected i was, than for some fools out here saying i died like a man, not taking no s#it. I do not buy them not getting out of the car. He sitting there with his window down like hes talking to some damn panhandler. His attorney spinning things or not reading/understanding Indiana state statute, where the police have the right to ask you to get out the car, show your ID. We cannot allow people to get away with not cooperating simply because of their distrust of the police, and what we hear in the news. In that case, people can rob/murder, etc, and the police just let them drive off. Or, worst, the criminal could be given more time and ways to harm the officer. Do what they ask, shut up; go file complaints with police dpt/states attorney/feds/naacp/sharpton/rev jackson/aclu. If you lose, you are still alive. Damn.
