Clarksville, TN! Sweet Marie was found as a stray with her brother/daddy/son (they looked like twins) and one puppy who didnt make it. She was adopted so quickly that I never needed to post the video of her. Sadly, she was just returned to animal control because she is heartworm positive :( The staff and volunteers know this is no reason to return her because there are people out there who can help. A volunteer decided to pay for her to start her slow-kill treatment which consists of antibiotics and advantage multi monthly (which is what she should be taking every month to prevent heartworms anyway). The advantage multi will be going with her to anyone who adopts her. Maries adoption fee is only $37 to because a volunteer will be sponsoring her spay.
