Class on Wednesday (12/4) US1 - After a review to refresh our memories following break we got back to John Adams and the Continental Congress. We watched and discussed the debate that erupted following the Lee Resolution and then broke into a look at the most revolutionary document of its day, The Declaration of Independence. Well close out this activity next week and then get into reviewing what youll work on next class during my absence. US2 - Today we opened up our final subject for this unit, the Paris Peace Conference / Treaty of Versailles. We got some basic notes about the peace conference and began spotting flaws / weaknesses within the process. Well get back to this activity next week by discussing world issues addressed at the conference and comparing your solutions (which youll work on during my absence next class) to The Big Fours. Gov - We started with a lot of house keeping like handing back papers and discussing your assignment for next class during my absence. After that we got back to Obamacare and wrapped or almost wrapped our look into just what the Affordable Care Act is designed to do. Next week well close our look at healthcare reform by discussing pros and cons of the ACA (be sure to have your worksheet filled out if you didnt have it done for todays HW check) and then well move on to our next subject of study.
