Clean conditions on most beaches this morning with next to no wind. Main breaks around town have some nice waves due to a NE swell. Wind will tend NE during the morning but should remain light. Protected northern corners will have good conditions all day. Waves will pick up during the afternoon. A weak trough of low pressure will linger over the central and northern parts of the coast during the next few days, while a belt of high pressure to the south of Australia extends a weak ridge along the southern coast. Towards the end of the week a high is forecast to strengthen over the Tasman Sea, before the the next frontal system sweeps through the region. Winds: Variable about 10 knots. Seas: Below 1 metre.
