Cleaning out my closet where I keep all my old birthday cards, letters, and other personal mementos. Nothing is more sad, silly, and ultimately Throwback Thursday worthy than finding an old printed convo you had with your grade school crush on AOL Instant Messenger. Especially when your screen name is the name of a Street Fighter video game super combo (Akumas Raging Demon) and your old crushs name is a play on the title of the book youre currently reading in 8th grade (AlgernonDeeMouse). Ah, to be young again. Real talk though, I do sorta miss AOL Instant Messenger. I know Facebook is better and all, but with all the photos and distractions, I feel there is less actual chatting and communicating. Plus the old AIM sounds and customized font colors that nobody could read were way cooler. :) #TBT
