Cleanliness is not next to godliness. It isnt even in the same neighborhood. No one has ever gotten a religious experience out of removing burned-on cheese from the grill of the toaster oven. Is cleaning only the responsibility of the Karamcharis? Do citizens have no role in this? We have to change this mindset. India can do it. People of India can do it. Indians reached Mars. No PM or Minister went. It was the people who did it, our scientists who did it. So cant we create a Clean India? If this is evaluated by a photo-opportunity, then we would be doing a disservice to the Nation. We all must come together and do this (clean India) wherever we are. This is a peoples task. Neatness - which is grooming, after all - is definitely the most important requirement. When we realize we can make a buck cleaning up the environment, it will be done!
