Clearing the misconceptions of Islam & Islamism I am not a Muslim and I will never be one: but I think that those who take a swipe at APC in terms of Islamization, are dumb, ignorant, and/or products of fanatical parentage. Apostle Paul told us in 1 Thes 5:21 to test (prove) all things, and hold fast what is good. Paul never condemned any Religion in the Bible, Master Jesus didnt also partake of any such ignoble act. I wonder where some people are digging out their quotations from these days. Imagine a Pastor swearing that a Muslim will never rule Nigeria again? Now, those who think that they are sophisticated, and possess some form of savvy in literature, must endeavour to conduct empirical researches before venturing into myopic renditions on issues that are completely unknown to them. The concept of Islamism is a 20th century ideology that was conceived, and propagated by an Egyptian Scholar, Hassan al-Banna. Islamism is hinged upon the medieval belief that Islam must guide economic, social, political, as well as personal life. It is a negative and isolated school of thought which has no factual bearing whatsoever with the fundamental principles of Islam, or the mind set of a vast majority of Muslims who make up 23% of the entire world population. Islam is a monotheistic and Abrahamic religion. It believes that the Quran is a holy book which was given to man by God via Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). Muslims also believe that Islam is the complete and universal version of a primordial faith that was revealed many times through prophets including Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and our Lord Jesus. We are not in any competition with Muslims, the God who allowed the amalgamation of Nigeria is not a stupid God. Maybe Jehovahs intention was to show the world that he is indeed the creator of every living soul on earth and in heaven. The Lord Jesus admonished his Disciples thus in Matthew 5:46,48: for if ye love them which which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the Publicans(Tax Collectors) do same? If ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? Do not even the Publicans do so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your father which is in heaven is perfect. Fanaticism is everywhere. Those Christians who do not want Buhari as their President simply because he is a Muslim, are in my view Christian Extremists. *During the troubles in Northern Ireland, Christians openly advocated for the killing of non-Christians. *UAE (DUBAI) is an Islamic State. #FACT #GMB15 #RedeemNigeria
