Clearwater Music school now has violin lessons available delivered by Naomi Koop, we will be updating the website shortly, but here is a bit of information about her and her lessons: Naomi graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with a BMUS(hons) degree in 2002 and has since gone on to work professionally with top orchestras, bands and as a soloist around the world. Over the years she has performed at thousands of weddings and events and appeared on numerous cruises, pop recordings, national and international TV, tours and many pop, jazz and country festivals. Though classically trained, naomi has a particular affiliation for the music and styles of the 1930s to the 1950s and has played and studied the art of improvisation with a number of swing, western swing and gypsy jazz groups. Naomi is also a highly accomplished and experienced teacher and has worked both privately and for primary schools, high schools and music services for over 10 years. She has experience in one to one teaching, music workshops within schools and pre schools, and has directed a number of ensembles. She is incredibly passionate about music and is keen to pass this on to prospective students in a friendly, encouraging and adaptable manner. Naomi is happy to teach all ages and abilities and to prepare students for exams up to grade 8 and beyond. She also teaches Viola and Piano.
