Great excitement in Baraka Secondary School today as they received their Sanitary Kits from FOL. The school has begun vegetable and bean growing to sustain the project. FOL spent the morning meeting with the girls who explained that up to now they had used rags, blankets, mattresses during their monthly periods. We met 69 girls and all of them have missed school because of lack of access to sanitary towels. Today they sang with joy as their future looks brighter! Thank you to all those around the world who support this project - the difference it makes is incredible. Heres to the journey ahead....
