Job Description The incumbent is accountable for executing a wide variety of financial transactions involving student’s accounts receivable and trade receivables. In addition the incumbent is responsible for ensuring all monies collected throughout the College have been recorded and deposits have been received . He/she is also called upon to resolve numerous queries from students, College Departments/Staff and outside agencies. Required Qualifications • A minimum of a one (1) year certificate or equivalent in Business / Accounting, Bookkeeping. • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a computerized accounting office environment. • Able to demonstrate sound computer and keyboarding skills. • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite products. • Experience dealing with external clients and/or contractors at a professional level. • Effective organization and time management skills. • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize workload. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Client-focused attitude. • Experience with the College information and financial systems, would be considered an asset.
