I was newly divorced and was very nervous about getting out on the scene again. So for the first year and a half, I refused to meet him. We talked online and on the phone most days but because I also had a young daughter, I was obviously cautious about bringing a strange person into our lives. I finally agreed to meet him for dinner and a movie (we only lived 100 miles apart). That was 10/16/2003. We have been together ever since. I think he won me over by taking my daughter under his wing and taking her on their own little dates, to the movies, the mall, lunch. She is now 19 and they still go on daddy/daughter dates. At our wedding in 2007 they exchanged vows too! He loves her as if she were his from the beginning, not just from when she was 8ish. We have added a little boy to our numbers a couple years ago and we couldnt be happier! #RARM
