Climbing Kilimanjaro is more than just a mountain challenge. It is a once in a lifetime experience, which will leave you with long lasting memories. You will get an insight into the lives and culture of the local community, whilst being immersed in some of the most breathtaking scenery in Africa. Lalahe has over 10 years experience of climbing Kilimanjaro and he loves nothing more than talking about his expereience on the mountain. If you would like to talk to us directly or ask any questions, please contact us - [email protected] Once you arrive in Tanzania, you will be greeted by our local team and transferred to a hotel, where we will have a thorough briefing before we set off on our challenge the following day. We stick together on the trek, but Lalahe, our local guides and porters are there to accompany us, whatever our pace. Each night, we dine and sleep in huts, and have a hot lunch served. Summit night is long, but exhilarating, and once were off the mountain, we celebrate our achievemnets together! After a free morning relaxing by the pool or in the local town Moshi, you can decid to extend your journey in Tanzania and visit or volunteer at Idimayii school. Prices are dependant on the number of people who will join our Kilimanjaro Classroom Challenge, prices for 1 person start at $1,500. 6 Day Marangu Route Marangu is the oldest and most established route on Kilimanjaro and is the perfect option if camping really isnt for you! Accommodation is on a shared basis in mountain huts, with evening meals taken in a communal dining area. There are even showers (cold) and some flush toilets, which to some are actually a bit of a luxury on the mountain! *The Marangu Route is a great alternative to camping on the mountain. *Our 6 day climb includes an acclimatisation day at Horombo. *Begins at the Kilimanjaro Park Headquarters. *Crosses The Saddle for fantastic views of Kibo. *Summits via Gillmans and Stella Point *Descends the same way with an overnight stop in Horombo on the way down.
