Clips owner Donald Sterling was banned for life from the NBA and fined $2.5m because of a TMZ recording his former girlfriend secretly recorded, more than likely months ago, and released during the first round of the playoffs to create media buzz and tank his life. Didnt know of this guy until this past week, but universal consensus says he was known bigot, the epitome of scum and a bad owner who got what was coming to him. But damn... all this over a private convo recorded with a cell phone by a vengeful ex?! A solid reminder that everything is fair game and the term privacy is evaporating into irrelevancy.
