I havent posted on here in a long time. the current news.... a few weeks ago while sleeping my body went into some sort of spasm and then a massive pain in my lower back that felt like someone kicked me with a steel toed boot. every day since then I have been in non stop back pain the level of pain goes up and down, at the worst my body freezes up and I can not move at all, and cant do anything but scream my head off, un fortunately I was home alone with 3 sleeping children. I have been to the ER twice in 1 week, one of those times the paramedics had to come get me. No pain meds will work at all, I have been trying to get an Epidural or block in my back but the ER wont do that. I have had 2 CT scans and 2 MRIs in the last 2 weeks. one of the scans showed a lesion of some kind in the lower lumbar region. and my Dr thinks that maybe cancer, I have my next apt on weds hopefully sooner, I may have to start radiation, which I guess is the only thing that will ease the pain, I have to say when this flares up it is the worst pain imaginable, and I understand why people give up. I thank god for my son, he is what keeps me going. I try to find strength where ever I can, but it is very hard going up against this type of pain ....... Well right this very minute my mom called me to tell me my Oncologist wants to see me today at 130. Thank god! I really dont know how to deal with this stuff alone. Waking up in the morning alone and the meds have worn off is severely tuff mentally, It would be really helpful to have company at that time to make sure my head stays on straight. I will write another note after my appt today. xoxo
