Closed for emergency repairs: this steel through-truss bridge on SH 90 at Bedrock (15 miles east of the Utah border in Montrose County) will remain closed until a fix is designed and implemented, which is being expedited by CDOTs bridge engineers. The 1953 structure underwent routine inspection in December 2013 with no damage identified. The crack in the vertical structure was detected upon a recent site visit. Stay tuned for more information as the work schedule is determined. Alternate route is SH 141 to US 491 into Utah, which adds about 26 miles from Naturita.
