Fantastic overnight sleeper from Chengdu to Xian... 15 hours in total. Xian is a fantastic fusion of old and new, conservative and liberal and eastern and western. Visited the amazing Muslim quarter with its thousands of vendors and then over to the other side of the city to see the Wild Goose Pagoda and the dancing fountains which would make the Balagio in Las Vegas look amateur. Roll on tomorrow as we are off to see the Terracotta Army!
