Closing the circle : Tournemire read Bloy who was biographed by Stan Fumet whose uncle Dynam-Victor played piano at the chat noir in Montmartre whose successor there was Erik Satie who got involved in Rosicrucian activities under the patronage of Joséphin Péladan who was the brother-in-law of Tournemire. Got it ? Of course Dynam Victor Fumet was a goddam anarchist, whilst Bloy was a prophet of modern times who would frighten Vatican City until today. By the way my copy of the book bears a handwritten dedication to Jean Ghéhenno by the author whom I never met, but I met his nephew Gabriel the flutist. Its a small world.
