Closing the day with more blessed rain on the horizon, I reflect on how stunningly blessed I am living here after a day such as today. Starting at 5am refilling the huge pantry that I had emptied for exterminators, I kept watching the sunrise, had the best Kona coffee, fed and played with the bird until it was time for a dental clean and scale. A bike ride followed by a harvest of tomatoes for lunch with snow peas and lettuces led to a sunny shower and then a dozy nap. Salad all from the garden with Queen Idas Corn Macquechoux at dinner leads to a night of binge watching the latest season of Boardwalk Empire. And to top it all of, the Aussie dollar plunged to $.83!!!
