Good Morning Coffee Clubbers and other Facebook Friends! Its Wednesday, day 3 of my vacation. lol. Enjoying my coffee and planning my day. Yesterday consisted of meeting with the contractor at the other house, getting my haircut, driving to Muncy to help Justin with his car, back to the house to install 2 lights, meeting at the lawyers, treating myself to a caramel mocha coffee, back to the house to review stuff with my wife, and cutting grass till I got rained out at 7pm. Then it was home to do nothing but hang with my daughter and watch Houdini. Which was pretty awesome. So we had the final estate settlement meeting at the lawyers yesterday. All I can say is wow, what a ride. While during this 3 year long winding road I never minded doing all the work for half the money, the only thing I asked for from the beginning was per my mothers wishes, something be left to her grandkids. This hasnt happened yet, but might still. Well see. Kind of what I expected. Im very proud of my mother and what she accomplished for herself and us coming from a dirt poor beginning. Wish I could have changed some things for her along the way and protected her from some things and some people, but it is what it is. This now allows me to close a couple books in my life once and for all and allows me to open new ones for my future along with my family. That is a good thing. Today were hitting the bushes and the grass and some dead trees. Texas chainsaw style!
