Club Statement Posted 30/7/2014 As you are aware every conceivable effort is being made to bring Outail Touzar to justice through the High Court. The board of directors, who have had to personally finance legal action which is fast approaching £100,000, share the supporters frustration that this process is taking so much time to come to fruition, time that is in very short supply. We are advised by our lawyers that it could be Monday before we now get into the High Court. Our priority was to regain ownership and then immediately seek reinstatement into the Conference South. The campaign begins a week on Saturday and we have to assemble am entire squad of players without any preparation in terms of pre-season training or games which puts us at a distinct disadvantage to our rivals. Unfortunately Touzar appears to be spending far more energy eluding us than he has ever put into running a football club which to date he has invested nothing in and taken £4,000 out of. The delay going to court has been caused because we are unable to serve Touzer with papers as he has now gone on the run in an attempt to deliberately avoid us. Therefore we have had to get permission from the court to take a different legal route to secure ownership of the club which has delayed our appearance in court. It is scandalous and wholly unacceptable that Touzer is able to avoid us yet goes out on free websites issuing one false statement after another. Nobody has seen this man for nearly two months let alone any money. Yet he would have you believe that he is genuine and only has the clubs interest at heart. You would hope common sense and rationality would come into play at some point but they dont appear to exist in Touzers world. It is evident he is only driven by a desire to completely destroy this football club. Logic says if indeed, he had nothing to hide, he would come forward. Even his FA appeal, which has only been granted because of the ownership wrangle, has no basis or substance. He has no legal team despite what he claims and is highly unlikely to even see this through when a case like this can cost, with proper legal representation, in excess of £15,000. Needless to say and taking everything into account we refuse to throw the towel in. The fight goes on.
