Coaches occupy a very precarious position in Singapore as we are treated with respect from some but yet not as a respectable career. So true. Dear fellow coaches, coaching has never been as lucrative as it seem to be, especially as a Full Time career. Fluctuation in pay, complications with schools, countless certifications after certifications to acquire and many more complex issues that as standalone coaches, there is only so much we can do. We have it in our hearts, to impart those technical skills and spread on the game of Sports to the younger hearts out there. However, with so many limitations in place, such as hourly rate payments and contractual obligations that usually place coaches as an easily replaceable role, many of us have second thoughts in making our passion for coaching a full time career. This is the time we finally have someone concern enough to raise these issues that have been in existence but never addressed. Do SHARE and LIKE SG Sports Coach Forum so that we can reach out to more support from all Singapore Coaches to make coaching a viable career now and for future coaches.
