Cocker Spaniels and doggie ophthalmologists go hand in hand (or is that paw in hand?) Here is Camp Cocker Rescues Perry, a total sweetheart of a dog seeing our favorite eye doctor, Dr. Chang at the VCA West Los Angeles animal hospital. When we first rescued Perry from the North Central Los Angeles animal shelter, he had some really nasty double cherry eyes. He had to have two surgeries to get them corrected. Then after that, he developed a corneal ulcer which took about six weeks to clear up with eye meds. Now he is all fixed up and just waiting for a forever home. We are holding our breath right now with anticipation because we may have a potential adopter for Perry with our rescue partner at Angels Under Our Wings Cocker Spaniel Rescue. Okay everyone, cmon, cross your paws that Perry is next to get adopted, this lovable boy really deserves an amazing home. We love us some Perry!
