Coeus Solutions is looking for a bright and motivated Senior Software Engineer - ROR Development, to help ensure the quality implementation of technical solutions throughout project life cycle including (evaluation, understanding, planning and executing) according to predetermind timelines. The ideal candidate is a strong team player with great interpersonal skills, quality conscious, organized and has excellent written and verbal communication skills. Your Role Lead, coach and motivate team members on a proactive basis Technically manage and actively participate in project development from initiation to closure Work closely with Project Manager to help create work breakdown structure Create a development plan which identifies and sequences the tasks and activities needed to complete the project and to estimate the effort required Explain and ensure complete understanding of the requirements of the project to the team members Ensure timely and quality delivery of assigned goals by assisting the team Continuously review source code of team members and provide positive criticism Design and implement solutions to complex problems Do risk assessment and apply mitigation strategies Manage and monitor sub-contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery Our Requirements Bachelors degree in a STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) A minimum of 5 years software development experience Experience with Linus, Heroku, AWS and ruby stack creation and configuration Experience working with Vagrant and puppet/chef based recipes for deployment Experience with migration and deployment and continuous integration Experience working with large scale application with large data processing What do we offer?
