College athletes getting paid? Isnt this going to end up violating Title 9? I really dont see how it cant. No way you can tell me the NCAA is going to make it so the best volleyball or baseball player will make as much as a football player. This will be a mess and a step backwards in college athletics and equality, not to mention it will absolutely take away from academics and hurt smaller schools. Solution: 1. Pay players for image likeness (thatll be first) 2. Allow a little more money for stipends in all sports 3. Allow amateur athletes to have endorsements and sign their name for money. Then athletes who have high market value are paid for it. Dont just think about big schools, there are smaller schools that wont be able to compete if this gets too big.
