College of Veterinary Medicines Dr. Janis Joslin wrote a chapter, “New World and Old World Monkeys,” in the book Zoo and Wild Animal Medicine. This series is published every 10 years. The Zoo and Wild Animal Medicine book’s chapters are organized by taxonomic groups and cover the diagnosis and treatment of all zoo animal species and free-ranging wildlife, including amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals and fish.
