Mysticism is the belief that true spirituality comes in nonrational experiences. This rejects the call Come now let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be white as snow. Iasiah 1:18. Mysticism replaces the Authority of Scripture with inner feelings and impressions, subjective experiences, intuition, superstitious interpretations of circumstances. Random thoughts are given the authority of revelations from God and Solid Bible teaching is rejected as dead theology. Many so called churches have given way to mysticism, most so called preachers on t.v. are mere mystic gurus. Many occupants in the pews are practicing mysticism, being led by their emotions, thoughts, mystic books( falsley called christian) feelings and wishes. (Blab it and grab it). Any religion, denomination, or system that adds anything to Christ for salvation, service, spirituality, or satisfaction is not Bible Christianity.
