Colour me ignorant, but I was trying to make sense of that advert which seems to initially be asking for donations to stop female children being married off to old blokes in Africa..... While trying to figure out exactly how sending money to these places was going to stop these unsavoury practices..... the blurb on the ad says (words to the effect) Your donations will go towards getting these girls an education and healthcare...... Now, hang on - again the ignorance kicks in - but where does the gaining education and healthcare plan fit in with the plot to stop the kids being sold off to dirty old bastards then!?!
