Colten Johnson was recently sworn in as the newest Texarkana Texas Police Officer. After Officer Johnson took the oath of office and received his appointment, DPS Trooper Wayne Johnson pinned the badge on his sons uniform. Johnson is a 2011 graduate of Liberty Eylau High School and completed the Kilgore Police Academy last month. Prior to joining the department, he worked at Ledwell in Texarkana. After he completes the 14-week field training program, he will be assigned to the Patrol Division. Please join us in welcoming Officer Johnson.
