Come Together with THE NUMBER NINES A Fresh Take on THE BEATLES Help Restore Gloucesters UU Meetinghouse The Number Nines joined together as an all star band for one special night in February for the multi-media show ALL YOU NEED IS MYTH (the mythology of The Beatles) at the Somerville Theatre in Somerville MA. Audience response to their re-imaginings of classic Beatles songs was described as transcendent and sublime. The show was so successful, theyve decided to join creative forces again on April 25 to benefit the renovation of the oldest Unitarian Universalist Church in the country. Comprised of North Shore and Boston area powerhouse songwriters, vocalists, and musicians, The Number Nines will come together to support each others dynamic original compositions followed by an epic set of fresh takes on The Beatles like youve never heard. The night will include top shelf harmonies by three of the North Shores most notable vocalists, Chelsea Berry, 3rian King, and Renée Dupuis. Meff, from Boston media favorite The Army of Broken Toys, creates synth-like sitar textures by playing an acoustic mandolin through multiple effect pedals. Brendan Burns is known all over Boston for his eloquent delivery on the electric guitar, and the solid soul rhythm section is supplied by Dennis Monagle (drums) and Joe Cardoza (bass).
