Come along to the YSJ Student union on Thursday 23 October at 7.30pm if youd like to be involved in the Languages Society! We want to promote language learning and study abroad. We aim to encourage people to immerse themselves in other cultures and also to break down language barriers and stereotypes in a fun and engaging way. We will host various events and schemes throughout the year to create and improve languages and friendships between home students and the international community. The focus is not just on languages but enjoying international cuisine and understanding different customs and cultures too. This society is open to everyone, whether you are studying a language at YSJ or just interested in practising languages and making international friends. If this sounds interesting to you, then come along to our first meeting of the year to meet other people who maybe interested in going, and learn more about what the languages society has to offer. Its Thursday 23th October @ 7.30pm in the Student Union. Its free to attend, as its just to see if youd like it, theres so many exciting possibilities to explore with this society and we really feel it something that will add to your experience here at York St. John University, socially, and most importantly practically.
