Left standing at the altar, considered for a promotion but got laid off, a miscarriage you name it - but David though displeased and afraid was STILL motivated to seek more insight into the heart of God! He discovered he shouldnt have copied the Philistines methods of handling the ark - it ushered in a fresh respect - then David danced with all his might and was despised by Michal! Im with David!
