“Come now, let us reason[a] together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool. (Isaiah 1:18) At first conviction of sin comes as a searing bright light on a dark soul. It hurts to know how far we are from who we should be. We stare into the mirror of who we really are and are grief stricken--- is that really me? But on the other side of that realization comes a voice of restoration. The Father of lights shines not condemnation but hope-- he wants to restore relationship. The only one in the universe who can forgive and heal us calls us to himself. You can be healed. You can be cleansed. The person you were meant to be is closer than you realize.
