Come out to the Cleveland County Water board meeting TONIGHT, Tuesday July 9 @ 7:00 pm. This is the first meeting since the CCW board approved their 2013-14 budget which includes $300,000 for the continuation of the Environmental Impact Statement process. Having done that they fully intend to push for their proposed reservoir on the First Broad River. The meeting is at the Cleveland County Water Office at 469 Casar-Lawndale Rd. Lawndale, NC 28090 Anyone wishing to speak up at the meeting can do so by signing up for a 3 minute public comment slot. The comments are generally heard early in the meeting.
