Come see John Collins at The Tremont Gallery. Here is Johns Bio: I was Born On the Island and I grew up not really appreciating all the Island had to offer. After hurricane Ike tore it apart I realized Galveston had lost a lot to nature and the ravages of time. I had no doubt the Islanders would rebuild and come back strong, it wasnt our first time. We live on Island Time here enjoying every minute. We swim, surf, ride bikes on the Seawall, fish, kayak, enjoy sidewalk music with my friends and all the events and parties the city has throughout the year. I have a wife, two kids, 3 cats, have been a policeman for 22 years and I expect Ill die here. I spend my time capturing images of my great city and like to share it with others.
