Well Daron, Elizabeth and Tony hit the mountains to call in that monster elk. Believe it or not, Im shopped out, so I took a Sunday drive ;). Just beautiful. Renaulda Crisp you shoulda been here! Saw some beautiful houses! and barns! Some pretty water ;). The white house on the hill was 15,000 square feet and an architectural masterpiece the internet said ;) Then headed to Strawberry Park Hot Springs. 4wd or chains only. Can you say washboard dirt road?! But it was beautiful ;). Once I got on top of the mountain at the springs, I looked over into a little valley and saw stone made pools of 104 degree water. For $15 you could enjoy the mineral hot springs. They also had cabins, wood covered wagons and cabooses to rent for the night. Not bad $. Between $55-$75 for two. And that included the hot springs. It did say bring a flash light, because after dark, clothing was optional. Dont worry, I was definitely outta there before dark! Also, saw an old wooden ski lift in the middle of no where off this old dirt road. Drove back through the town of a Steamboat and headed east. Saw an old church, beautiful split rail fence and a 7,000 sq ft home for sale. It was reduced in price to only $4,490,000! Well, that was my evening ;)
