HRIS Analyst: Category : Human Resources Location/City : nj - fair lawn Id : 3027039 Job Type : Contract-to-Hire DescriptionWho we are looking for:Under direction, serves as a liaison between the Human Resources (HR) and Information Technology (IT) Departments to provide systems support and analysis and to leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of the HR Department and users of HR information systems throughout the Organization. Works with all levels of HR staff in assessing needs for various business functions. Assists management in identifying and analyzing options and recommends business process enhancements. Performs tests to ensure all processes work according to the pre-determined goals identified. Assists team members in identifying reports that are needed by the department and users of HR information. Provides project oversight from design through implementation.What you will do: Serves as a liaison between Human Resources and Information Technology Departments Provides systems support and analysis Leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of HR and users of HR information systems Identifies, tracks, monitors and communicates on project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that occur during the course of projects Monitors project work to ensure that progress is maintained within expected guidelines Creates test scenarios and assists project team members in performing tests to insure all processes work according to predetermined goals Investigating problems and developing detailed suggestions for resolution of issues Assists management in identifying and analyzing options and recommends business process enhancements Assists department staff with technical issues related to the use of HRIS systems Assists staff in the creation of more difficult queries to select and compile information from the HRIS system as needed Assists in developing training plans and training documents Create complex queries to provide program statistics for management Analyze and interpret statistics to provide overview of findings Works with HR staff in the development of project scope of work documents and project plans that include analysis of cost, benefit, work schedule, related risks and return on investment.What you will need: Possess a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources or related field. Have four (4) years of full-time experience in computer system operations. NOTE: A Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience. Oracle Fusion HCM experience is plus. Peoplesoft or Oracle EBS experience required. Strong analytical/problem solving skills. Considerable knowledge of computer operations and computer systems analysis. Considerable ability to follow complex oral and written instructions. Working knowledge of and experience in utilizing and creating databases and spreadsheets. Considerable ability to make routine decisions in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Considerable ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees. Considerable ability to solve problems/troubleshoot to computer system software and operations. Ability to be highly organized, accurate, timely and able to prioritize. Ability to tolerate stress and be adaptable, flexible, persistent, versatile and handle multiple projects and re-prioritizations. Ability to organize information, have attention to detail, accurately follow procedures, maintain confidential information, and remember important pieces of information. Ability to maintain self motivation and to work independently and in team environments. Ability to sit the entire work day viewing a computer monitor.
