“Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28. It’s the summer holidays! As everyone has worked hard for the past year, it can be said that we all well and truly deserve a break. But even when we have time off, do we have that peace? Do we have that time to truly rest? Though we actually have a period where we can spend time with our loved ones in glorious weather, does our hearts still feel restless? We can find that peace and calm with Jesus! When we have God in our hearts, His tranquillity washes over us like a stream flowing through a meadow. God knows when we’re tired and weary from all the challenges of our lives and He’s willing to pick up those burdens for us so that we can have peace- all we need to do is ask God for His guidance and turn to our Father! Prayer: Lord I am worn-out from the daily problems I face. Please enter into my heart and give me rest. Thank-you Lord for being ever-loving and always there in my life. AMEN! Anjalie
