Comfortably numb. Meltdowns, messes, missing thannies, IEPs, government paperwork, deadlines, myriad demands, elderly parents, and the assorted day-to-day stresses, trials and tribulations. After awhile you just grow a bit numb and roll with it. Today would be one of those days. While yesterday was full of giggles, today is a whole lot different on multiple fronts. I guess autism parents learn to deal with the ups and downs, frustrations, elations and every emotion in between. I guess after enough time it stops bothering you. You dont like days like today but you just deal. And I still have another nine hours to go, so it could get a whole lot better.
