Comical Customer Confusion: A customer having an issue with an Energizer car battery had been to Walmart to get it replaced, only to discover it wasnt their brand. He then brought it to Advance, based upon the fact that we were the first name to come up when he Googled the item. I explained that I hadnt seen that brand in the 3 years I worked with Advance, and politely asked him to open the Advance link (thinking it may have been an online only or something). It wasnt listed. I explained that I had often seen competitors ads pop up when I Googled something (like a searcher for John Deere tractors getting Massey Ferguson ads). He recalled that Sams carried Energizer car batteries: as a Sams Club member, they would be able to help. Im glad we got the issue resolved without anger, and he left content.
