Coming back from a week vacation, which as a server means a week with no pay, I knew I was coming into the slow season, what I wasnt counting on was being only scheduled in the bar and being cut from 5-6 shifts to 2 shifts and in next weeks case, 1 double. Things are going to be a little rougher than I thought this month. However, amidst the chaos of this world, I will not be disheartened. This too shall pass and just become the contrast to let me fully appreciate more amazing memories to come. Adversity breeds invention, necessity and growth. These hardships will not take my joy or happiness. And in the long run theyre only going to strengthen me. So I ask this of my readers, share a memory of any time youve smiled, laughed or just thought things were good when you were around me, talking to me, or even just reading of my life.
