Coming out of my hometown of Southaven, MS and Southaven High School like me and leaving his one man successful law firm where he wrote his first book after hours. This man John Grisham inspires me. I have not spoken to him in probably ten years but rehearing his story of writing when nobody cared. printing 5000 books and buying 1000 back himself to sell out of his trunk at libraries in Mississippi. I relate. I know I will never reach his level but writing and telling stories is a passion and with proper funding of my films, it will make what is in my head and heart be told better. My Mom also a writer has been an inspiration to go forward against the odds and do what God drives you to do. I remember hearing Johns story of the glass cased water heater in his office that he won his first big case over. His story being so vivid and clear you felt like you were there in the court room as it happened. That is what I want, to have a life doing what I want each day and being remembered for it. At the struggling stage against the odds of Bigger Film companies I will not give up and I am glad I saw this story Today to keep me on my journey. Go SHS!
