A Biblical Retreat for Priests (Nov 7-8) If you are (or know of) a Catholic priest looking for biblical inspiration and spiritual renewal, heres an invitation to join us for a day of prayer, fellowship, and Bible study focused on “The Joy of the Gospel: Reflections on Johns Spiritual and Sacramental Gospel. Co-sponsored by the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology and Franciscan University of Steubenville, our time begins with evening prayer on Friday, November 7, and ends the next day, on Saturday afternoon (Nov 8). Ill be joined by Franciscan Universitys President, Fr. Sean Sheridan, T.O.R., along with my good friend and colleague, Dr. John Bergsma, one of the Universitys most popular professors. Designed to help priests grow in their knowledge and love of God’s Word, this mini-retreat / conference will feature four talks unpacking some of the riches of the Gospel of John: The Hour is Coming (Hahn) The Priest as Bridegroom of Joy (Bergsma) Greater Works Than These?
